...was to think the kid should have the offending hand lopped off, but I'd be content to see him put away in some sort of facility for a very, very, very long period of observation and treatment.

Now, if it were an adult who mutilated and murdered the family of ducks, though, I'd just say, "Nah, get the axe and hold him still."

Ah well, maybe that's too "biblical", or maybe I'm just feeling a little barbaric today.

I've just seen this all over the national news sites. WTF? There have always been rotten little sociopath kids. I knew one who skewered frogs with popsicle sticks.

Our country would be in better shape if someone had helped GWB.

Poor little kid is probably being abused. I killed some ducks as a child, but not with a pencil. I was really little and I was playing with them in water and watered one a little too much. Was an accidental murder of one duck. I thought they did better than that one did with water at the time. :shrug:
