BP Oil spill, I just put my tin foil hat on
Watching Ed yesterday on MSNBC he mentioned in so many words how the solution to the oil spill may be someone inventing/coming up with the idea/solution which at the moment does not exist.

Now being a huge fan of flash forward my tin foil went right on ;)

Suppose some company invented a device to stop oil seeping from the ocean floor but needed an oil leak to test it?

Seriously now, there could be a chance of some unknown person/company solving this disaster no?

3. Sorry.
You know, I was going to do something smartassed, like post a picture of Ann Coulter as a palate-cleanser, but I guess I'm feeling compassionate tonight. Enjoy your vacation.

7. I'm not sure I follow you
Are you saying that some inventor sabotaged a oil well a mile deep in the Gulf, so that they could demonstrate their technology that would make things right?

11. A Bit Tight On The Tinfoil There...
Going with that "logic" it plays right into the rushbo meme of some type of sabotage. I can see it now...PETA skindivers, funded by ACORN riding aboard a Greenpeace boat then led by Bill Ayers they dive 5,000 feet down and blow up the wellhead. Sheesh. :tinfoilhat:

12. I'm gonna stick my neck out here...
My tin foil hat says to look for GS short positions in any/all man-made disasters that might just have a "golden" lining should they occur...

14. That would be a nice conspiracy theory if it wasn't for the fact that leaks and spills
happen almost on a daily basis in the gulf.
