Erin Andrews is not pleased with Elisabeth Hasselbeck laughing over her stalker scare.

On Tuesday night following her appearance on “Dancing with the Stars,” Erin responded to Elisabeth’s Tuesday morning “View” comments, which found fault with Erin’s “Dancing with the Stars” wardrobe.

“I think that people can have their opinions about the costumes and the show. Everybody’s entitled to an opinion, but my biggest complaint of the situation is she’s a woman and she’s a mother and was there giggling,” Erin told Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson. “It was made to be a mockery of something I’ve lived through this past year, my family has lived through, my friends have lived through. We have a convicted felon now who’s going to jail for doing this. I don’t know who’s laughing about this.”

The ESPN reporter – who was celebrating her birthday with the “DWTS” cast — added that she considered the remarks “a slap in the face for victims of stalkers and victims of sexual predators.”

“I don’t need an apology,” she concluded.

However, she got one on Wednesday, as Elisabeth burst into tears on “The View” on Wednesday morning as she apologized to Erin for her critical remarks.

“I’m sitting there with Grace, my 5-year-old, and she said, ‘Mommy, why you look so sad and I said, ‘Well, Grace, mommy hurt somebody’s feelings,’” she explained on Wednesday as she began to cry. “She said, ‘Mommy, why don’t you call Erin and tell her you’re sorry, so thankfully I listened to her. She’s a wise little girl and I did. So I’m really sorry.”

Hasselbeck is a world-class doofus.. The only thing she has going for her is her looks..There's surely not much going on in that noggin of hers.

I'm a bit surprised at the espn lady though. I guess she must need the money. being famous for being stalked is an odd way to cash in..

Erin Andrews is a good reporter and person. She probably came to their attention because of the stalker mess. However, I think she accepted to prove she could get on with her life and not be intimidated.

She has had a horrible time. Even getting back in front of the camera has been difficult. This was probably one more step she wanted to take.

Stalkers can affect a person's life immeasurably. One detective I heard said that it was right up there with the top 2 or 3 crimes against people. They are psychopaths who never go away, and if they are alive, you never feel safe. Some will never stop.

I am always embarrassed for the "contestants", and see them as kind of sad people craving attention to talents they don't have:shrug:..

10. It's not only celebs who get stalked...

..every day people too have been the target of stalkers.. you just don't hear about it in the news.. I was stalked for several months, by a guy I went out with exactly *twice*, back in my early 20s.. It's a nightmarish experience, I can tell you.
