makes one feel great doesn't it?

Great to know the "market" can just do whatever it wants without rhyme or reason.

I think I need a beer or 39

Peace

2. I wonder how many rubes lost money as the "mistake" took hold?
The Stock Market is failing exactly like BP's oil well. There is no blowout valve, and of course no one will get fired.

Why would I invest in a market that can be manipulated by a single letter or misplaced decimal point?

4. I think it's spin--to prevent further selling...
I think we need to consider that we're being played with this, "Oops! My bad!"
theory.

All Wall Street does it spin, lie and try to control our behavior. What are
they all doing right now? They're drinking brandy, sweating and praying to God
that Joe and Susie Six Pack don't get nervous and pull out of the market or
partially sell off.

They're speculating, it seems. And they're speculation is bent toward floating
some cockamamie story about the market tanking due to a "glitch."

It couldn't be the uncertainty in Europe. Oh no. It couldn't be the massive
unemployment and underemployment that is hidden with twisted statistics. NO way.
It couldn't be that most Americans have completely altered their spending behavior
and that our country is in the process of demanding less of everything. NOoooo.

It's just an "error." Anyone else tired of being fed spin for every meal by
the MSM--which serves at the behest of corporate greedmongers?

7. And then the machines furthered the damage
We need to outlaw program trading, they make a crash more likely.
