1. Donated to the campaign a few times
20 right after he announced.
50 a couple of months ago
25 a few weeks ago
10 on Wednesday.

I'm excited. Wish I was a PA voter
I've also been supporting Halter with money.

Soon you'll probably hear from the people who think you're supporting him because you hate Obama
They were out a few days ago bashing Halter supporters

2. Please butt out of my state. We don't want your money or your meddling.

With the loss of Jack Murtha representing our state in the House of Reps, Arlen Specter in the Senate is the last long-time big-name Congressperson we have representing PA.

Our state needs him, and Arlen Specter is our endorsed Democratic candidate (my county and statewide.)

Joe Sestak might have been a good candidate to replace Specter someday (or better yet, to replace the do-less Bob Casey next time) but right now he doesn't have that much experience legislating -- what has he gotten done or passed in the House of Reps?

If you are not from PA, please butt out of our primary. If you want to donate, then donate to the ultimate winner to fight Toomey -- he is Santorum on steroids and God help the whole country if we get him in the Senate.

6. Would you mind not putting words in my mouth as to who I do or do not hate??
Bad enough for someone to be a carpetbagger, but I guess now you feel that your oh so big-money donations entitle you to speak for those of us who are actually Pennsylvanians as well? Or is it your so-called "relatives" that have endowed you with that right?

FYI, a lot of us who actually live in Pennsylvania think that Sestak is the opportunist. He was no Dem until a few years ago when he joined the party so he could run for Congress. Sound familiar?? And now he's nothing more than a lackluster two-term congressman who thinks that that plus a career in the Navy (which he may or may not have been kicked out of) entitles him to a US Senate seat.

If Sestak wins, I think we end up with Toomey taking it in November. If that happens YOU are going to have to be the one to "live with that."

7. You said you hate carpetbaggers
Both Clinton and Kennedy moved to New York to run for the Senate

So how am I putting words in your mouth?

You either hate carpet-baggers or you don't. Clinton and Kennedy were carpet-baggers

17. The reason he was independent was because Admirals and Generals do not display
their political leanings (rather they shouldn't). He got out of the Navy in 2005 and became a Democrat in 2006.

25. Thanks for your support, from PA Democrat.
When the general comes, whoever wins will be accepting donations from out of state activists, as well as DNC and DSCC money that comes from "outsiders."

It's perfectly legal and welcome I am sure.

Democrats. They now what is at risk and I think Mr. Sestak is going to get a swift kick in the a**.

16. It's their call. Or rather it's their collective call. They may elect to
retain Specter or they may decide on Sestak.

At the moment the tracking polls appear to favor Sestak.

15. Senators draft and vote for and against legislation that affects us all.
People in other states have a vested interest in the election outcomes of other states' primaries, as the ultimate winner contends for a seat in the next Congress.

Donations may cross state lines.

So do opinions.

22. This Senate race affects all Americans -- as do all other US Senate races
US citizens from other states have just as much right as you do to comment upon or donate to candidates for national office from PA or any other state.

20. The tracking poll is a daily poll, and each day's numbers represent
a trend or the absence of a trend.

In the current day's tracking Sestak is up 2 more percentage points. He led by 2 yesterday and by 4 today.

and from the same guy that has been donating to Sestak's camaign-Richard Mellon Scaife of Ken Starr fame.

I don't think there is a chance in this world that Arlen will lose that race.

but the political strategists at the White House are now concerned:

The one contact gives 50-50 odds in the Pennsylvania primary.

This hysterical mud-slinging against Sestak and his supporters and donors is not helpful to the united front we will all be trying to build after May 18.

I suspect that at least some of what we are seeing is not exactly "friendly" fire.
