Former CIA director George Tenet will appear on NBC's "Meet the Press" to discuss his new book, "At the Center of the Storm: My Years at the CIA." In it, Tenet says he was made a scapegoat for the bungled intelligence in the Iraq war -- a claim that prompted former CIA officials to say Tenet failed to emphasize skepticism about the intelligence before the war.
Meanwhile, a week after the first Democratic debate, former Sen. John Edwards (D-N.C.) appears on ABC's "This Week." And just a few days after the first GOP debate, Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-Colo.), who has taken a hard stance against illegal immigration, is interviewed on ABC.
Otherwise, the topic on the Sunday shows will be the war -- and the next step for the White House and Congress after President Bush's veto of a war spending bill that set a timetable for withdrawal.
"Fox News Sunday" hosts Sen. Chris Dodd (D-Conn.) and House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio). CBS's "Face the Nation" interviews Rep. Charlie Rangel (D-N.Y.) and former House speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.), a potential presidential candidate.
And CNN's "Late Edition" has Sens. Richard Lugar (R-Ind.) and Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.).
