More covering-up? Karzai & Sec of State Clinton hold press conference ...
and only FRANCE24 TV carries this live. :wow:

I guess that us dumbed down Americans are not supposed to care? Mika and Joe are still fawning all over each other and CNN is covering teenage addiction WHILE our troops guard Poppy Fields for Karzai's drug warlord brother.

Nothing to see here?

Please discuss?

Also, forgive me if it's the woman and/or ugly American in me, but WHY is Hamid Karzai always caught wearing the exact same attire? I guess the stripes across his shoulders must represent Afghanistan?

Especially that HAT. We had that style of hat for women in the U.S. Army but it was a horrid John Deere Green and had a very profane nick-name. :silly:

4. Well his attire symbolizes the unity of all the tribal regions

That hate his fucking guts.

The way he dresses is a PR move, he has picken wardrobe items from the various Afghan tribal factions.

The generally united theme amongst them, is they hate this guy.

5. Thanks for the education. I knew it was some sort of symbolic meaning ...
it certainly could not be construed as good fashion sense.

But never forget, Karzai's OUR (the USA's installed) beloved THUG MONARCH?

Yes, the illegitimate leader of Afghanistan, in reality, reigns supreme as the Mayor of Kabul. :P

6. Actually a few blocks of Kabul

He doesn't even control the entire city.

He's a persona the Americans can trot out to say they are working on a government when in fact there is anarchy in the country.
