Even a giant industrial grade douche bag can't plug that leak.
Congress questioned the top oil company's, oil well service company's and the top off shore drilling company's most dynamic trio of douche bags and all the three CEOs/Douche Bags did, was blame each other for the major malfunction/calamity. They kind of reminded of Moe, Larry And Curly.

Meanwhile back at the beach, the defecation is about to come ashore and bite the country on the ass like jaws 34567897865. BUT Still the people are more worried about American Idols, than about taking care of America's Vitals.

The ashen faced CEOs are looking more greasy than the 8 pound tar balls that they begat.

3. "We have a better box on the way"
Where have we heard that before.

The Groppenfuhrer out in Kolley-4-knee-ya did a double back flip away from the off-shore drilling as soon as the news broke about the unfolding disaster in progress. Even the Shrill don't say "Drill Baby Drill" anymore.

I would like now to direct your attention to this other unfolding disaster in progress.

The Massey Murder of my mountains.

15. I feared that last fall when another Halliburton cemented well head
blew out in the Timor Sea, Indonesia/Australia way. Finding current environmental impact reports on that catastrophe is not easy. Nobody paid attention then, indeed you were not informed and NOW TOO FEW, armed with that RECENT history, get the coverage to CHANGE THE TRAJECTORY!!! Never mind PWS and Exxon-Valdez.

Ya know, there are days I believe Homo Sapiens are too dangerously inventive/stooopid to persist. You know that old joke about the planets. ;-)

5. NPR did a hatchet job on this last week...

...Still the people are more worried about American Idols, than about taking care of America's Vitals.

Interviewed the parents of one of the workers killed by the blast. Although their tales were heartrending, they had to include the mother's comment about how too much attention was being given the growing environmental disaster than the 11 dead workers. There shouldn't be a debate over which one is more important and therefore, more "news-worthy."

I smelled a spin job for BP...

edited for spelling...

13. A sad event from every perspective.
Unthinkable...but Bam! The way the "EXPERTS" are dealing with this, gives the impression that things won't get better any time soon. Lying about the amount of oil being released...the CEOs started out after the disaster on the wrong foot. The sad part about the eleven dead employees and the others traumatized. Air so toxic and unbreathable that others too may fall victim. Worst of all the defiling of some of the most beautiful and desirable parts of our country.

The latest figure I heard was that possibly as much as 3 million gallon of oil a day was being released. Four days at that rate would surpass the Exxon Valdez release. That's an Exxon Valdez class spill about twice a week until this thing is contained. The Exxon Valdez wreck spoiled an area where relatively few people lived compared to the Gulf of Mexico area. The human suffering will be far more intense. The wild-life, sea-life and the land itself will suffer greatly, possibly permanently. The economy and the tourist trade will be in trouble at a time when the economy is already stressed and the state and local governments are trying to make ends meet.

7. I am almost sure that they could
submerse Rush, (if he is actually submersible due to his massive capacity for buoyancy) and stuff him in the pipe. That would cut off the flow for sure!

Has anybody suggested that yet?

12. Well, that's hardly the purpose of a douche bag
I think you meant to say "colostomy bag" or even "condom."

The problem is that they've wasted too much time already trying to figure out how to save that well and get the oil out of it rather than trying to plug it up. Things have gone from bad to worse while they've done it.

This might be one for the Army Corps of Engineers to think about. Corporate thinking has just been too limited.

In any case, those ashen faced executives have finally realized this isn't just a bunch of coonass fisherfolk in Louisiana getting put out of business. This is likely to be an international problem before it's over with the lawsuits to match.

I guess I'd have that deer in the headlights stare myself if I had to "Splain" this calamity to an angry public.

"Karl Rove's ass?" I don't think there are enough gerbils in there to plug the big pipe at the bottom of the Gulf.
