PA-12 Rips Off Scab Of MSM SILLY Republican Takeover Meme!
Yes. It's true. The media will not accept it but they have been so wrong for so long.

Where do I start, oh yea PA-12, if republicans were gonna win a district it should have been that one, they had all going for them, President Obamas poll numbers in the low 30s, highly conservative district, won by John McCain in the last election and the MSM crowing about how bad November was going to be for Democrats.

With all that, in a race most pundits thought would be a tossup, the GOP managed to get their collective asses handed to them in an embarrassing 8 point loss.

DFutureIsNow's diary :: ::
The MSM has recently, after this debacle been trying to change their tune, saying this was a must win by the Dems, and that it is holding "home court" advantage by the Dems, failing to realize this is a STRONG rebuke of Mitch McConnell and the republican party. Being the party of NO is not a recipe for success in 2010, that is the clear message that democrats need to hammer, that they have done something for the people while the GOP has been standing in the sidelines.

Also the biggest lesson of all this races is the American people are SICK and TIRED of career politicians who think they are smarter and slicker than they are, they WILL ONLY reward politicians that will work for them, roll up their sleeves and GO TO WORK on the issues that THEY care about, local Issues.

1. I agree. Turncoats (as in Specter), and corporatist Dems...
such as Lincoln better rethink their strategies. It's time to clear out these types of folks from our party.

2. But Buchanan et al only want to
discuss Specter's loss as an indictment of Obama.
Obama and the Democratic establishment made one mistake - they should never have either welcomed or endorsed Specter - the Democratic base was never going to accept that ReTHUG opportunist.

The ReTHUGS only fooled themselves about PA-12. Democratic voters are way more enthusiastic than ReTHUGS and Rendell scheduled that election perfectly.
Tell Specter to go and enjoy his grand kids and great grand kids.
