2. A sore loser law in PA prevents Specter from an indy run.
Specter announced support for Joe.

4. For the umpteen millionth time, HE CANNOT RUN AS AN INDEPENDENT!
The filing deadline for that was weeks and weeks ago.

It's too late.

The independent ship has sailed.

5. He said he will support Sestak
during his concession speech. Plus I don't think he can run as an independant due to PA law. A law I sincerely wish we had in CT for some reason.

6. yeah they should invent a device that records important speeches
and maybe the could invent an internet and a website on that internet that catalogs these recordings then they could invent a search website that helped you find them.

here I did the work for you, that'll be $5

8. There are only 4 states where that is allowed and PA is NOT one of them.
In United States politics, a sore-loser law is a law which states that the loser in a primary election can't then run as an independent in the general election. These laws do not apply to presidential candidates <1>. Many states accomplish the same requirement by having simultaneous registration dates for the primary and the general election; in fact only the states of Connecticut, Iowa, New York and Vermont don't have either a sore-loser law or simultaneous registration deadlines..

9.  I don't think he will ever seek office again
He look tired, as well he should be considering his age, physical issues, and this recent campaign.
I supported Sestak but I think Specter handled his concession speech well while initially facing the defeat and sudden realization he will be out of office after so many years.

12. According to the article in the Patriot-News (Harrisburg, print edition), YES, he will.
Specter has no love for Toomey. Besides, Sestek and Specter both know that Toomey is a Santorum wanna-be and we already sent THAT asshole back home to Virginia.
