Charles Francis Adams (1835-1915) on "corporate personhood"
The grandson of our second President wrote in his "Chapters of Erie" the following:

"Modern society has created a class of artificial beings who bid fair soon to be the masters of their creator....The system of corporate life and corporate power...is ever grasping new powers, or insidiously exercising covert influence. Even now the system threatens the central government."

Charles Francis Adams was much closer to those who founded the United States of America and drafted its original Constitution. His interpretation of "original intent", therefore, would be far more valid than that of our present SCOTUS and their corporatist allies

1. Corporations should be subject to the same criminal penalties that any Dick Tom or Harry
Would be subject to. If convicted any person who was negligent or malicious needs to face jail time.

It's only fair.

5. Seventeenth-century English protest rhyme
They hang the man and flog the woman,
Who steals the goose from off the common,
Yet let the greater villain loose,
That steals the common from the goose.
