They talk to many political prisoners about how soccer became the method they used to learn about cooperation and governing. It was the lessons learned playing soccer at Robben Island that they used as a guide when they came to power.

It is fascinating and eye opening. I won't look at the World Cup in South Africa this summer the same way I once did. Soccer is rightly much more than a game to them.
