Which is a GREATER Threat to Americans - Tribesmen in Afghanistan or BP oil spill?
Edited on Mon May-24-10 07:47 AM by Vinnie From Indy
America's leaders appear to have completely lost their collective minds in the last decade. We are spending trillions of dollars fighting tribesmen in Afghanistan and temporarily keeping Iraqis from resuming their thousand year old sectarian war while the lives of millions of Americans are being DIRECTLY threatened by this oil spill. It simply makes no sense. How in the world can these wars be justified as keeping Americans safe when we are being attacked HERE IN AMERICA by this gargantuan oil slick. Make no mistake about it - this spill will eventually kill far more Americans and destroy far more of our economic future than 10,000 Osama bin Ladens.

It is all so unreal and insane! Bring our troops home President Obama and get busy defending MILLIONS of Americans from this disaster of biblical scale.

2. And a corrupt and venal corporatist Congress concomitant with successive venal
administrations has assured unbridled capitalism run amok largely free of governmental interference, regulation, and oversight: in fact, virtually every piece of legislation provides for further corporate welfare at the expense of we the people assuring a lower standard of living for them. :grr:
