Need Help Debunking....
I got this from a right-wing cousin. I would like to reply

"Chuck Green is stating some very obvious facts here. The irony is that The Denver Post and Chuck Green are Very far-left-wing liberals."

http://www.aurorasentinel.com/articles/2010/02/07/opinion/columnists/doc4b6af63781c92027520167.txt

<from article>
Barack Obama is setting a record-setting number of records during his first year in office. Largest budget ever. Largest deficit ever. Largest number of broken promises ever. Most self-serving speeches ever. Largest number of agenda-setting failures ever. Fastest dive in popularity ever.

To his devout followers, it was inconceivable that a year later his administration would be gripped in self-imposed crisis.

Of course, they don’t see it as self imposed. It’s all George Bush’s fault.

George Bush, who doesn’t have a vote in Congress and who no longer occupies the White House, is to blame for it all."
<end insert>

Now, while this article may raise some points about how President Obama has not kept all of the promises explicitly or implicitly promised in his campaign he did inherit a monster mess from George W Bush and big changes don't happen overnight. So first, I would like to debunk some of the points of this article. Next, I just don't believe this Chuck Green is a Liberal. I know Liberals have a lot of reason to be angry at Obama, but I can't imagine an established Liberal voice using such sarcasm, or seeming to defend George W Bush.

So, may I get some assistance debunking?

6. The word is "excuse," not "execuse."
The better words are "putting the blame where it belongs."

Those who make the assertions must provide the "proof."

4. Well, a lot of those are subjective.
"Most self serving speeches ever" erm, what the hell does that even mean and who measures that?

Same for "agenda setting failures ever" and "largest number of broken promises"

Regarding the budget and deficit, well...the country is bigger now than it has ever been.

Promises here:

http://politifact.com/truth-o-meter/promises/

Regarding presidential approval, Bush was in the toilet until 9/11 when people gave him the benefit of the doubt and in any case, Obama ended up tied with Reagan for ratings at the first year mark.

His only praise is for Jim De Mint.

Here he is trashing Al Gore:

If that guy is a liberal, I fall off the political scale.
