We Won't Pay For GOP Campaigns!

You are paying for the Republicans' 2010 political campaign.

Today the GOP House leadership unveiled a new project to push their campaign platform. But instead of paying for this through the Republican National Committee, they are financing it with taxpayer dollars through Congress. At the same time they are refusing to extend unemployment benefits or to work to help fix the problems they created.

Tell GOP Eric Cantor and Kevin McCarthy, to return taxpayer dollars and fund their campaigns using private donations.

It's amazing that they claim to be worried about the deficit and spending when they pull stunts like this. Republicans claim this is isn't about the 2010 elections but in quotes to newspapers this morning both Representatives Eric Cantor and Kevin McCarthy admitted that this is all about electing Republicans in November. And it's being financed by your tax dollars.

This latest stunt is insulting. As we are looking for ways to compromise and fix this nation, such a blatant misuse of public funds and our trust is unacceptable. We should not be paying for their campaign.

Send the Republicans a message. Tell them to return tax payer money and stop the GOP bailouts.

Help us hold the GOP accountable and demand our money back.

5. OK, I would be against...
the use of taxpayer dollars to fund any campaign. Where's the evidence, or suggestion, of wrongdoing?
