Rachel is destroying the case for 'drill, baby, drill'
Showing clips from NBC from 1979 from a massive oil well explosion in the gulf. They used the same techniques then as now, only in 200 feet of water! Same dome, same top hat, same BS. 9 months that well leaked until relief wells were completed. 1979.

But it's shocking that the disaster response technology hasn't advanced since then. That was the year we bought this place, the year after hubby and I got married. Yikes, too many years ago

P.S. Our mortgage interest rate? It was 11 1/8%.

4. Took Big Oil to the woodshed.
It was a thing of beauty! She is such a great educator. I learn something from her every night.

5. Rachel is one of, if not the best
This report from the 70's is a killer. This should be on primetime and every major station. Proof conclusive that BP is GROSSLY negligent and has never learned from experience. They have NOTHING!

8. So much for "the invisible hand"
Isn't that how it's supposed to work? Corporation does bad, people stop buying their product and voila! They correct themselves.

Yep, that's the theory.
