I find it amazing how we all pick up on these technical terms and use them as if we'd known all our lives what they meant.
It just shows that we here on DU learn details and learn them fast - when the subject matter is important.

That sucker was at least an inch thick. Both my parents work here and my mom warned me "you won't understand anything they're saying, but in 6 months you'll be speaking the language too." It was true. It's interesting/funny how each industry has their own jargon. :)
