1. Weren't special prosecutors handily eliminated under Bush?
I don't think presidents can appoint special prosecutors anymore.

8. Fascism:
a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition

2. I fully believe there will be prosecutions
The time for actually building a case is now. The time for moving forward with prosecution will be when the case is a solid slam dunk.

The DOJ is not going to tip their hand on where their investigation is leading, and yes, they are currently investigating.

7. Anything wrong with a little fact gathering before we unleash the prosecutor?
I wouldn't think so. Seems to me it would make for a better prosecution.

12. Ha!

I'm just gonna use your post as my excuse to say this.

Sometimes when people are yammering on about how it's impossible to find information about this or that the gubmint is hiding information about that, I just want to slap them and say, "Ya know, you're ON the Internet ... right now," and then do a little "Let me Google that for you" link.

But if I did that, that's all I'd be doing.

13. But That Doesn't Serve My Agenda...
Gotta love those who pitch a bitch or put out some bogus claim and then tells you to "prove me wrong"...the classic strawman, and it happens here all the time.

In fairness, the Internet has gotten so nebulous that you can find a website to "back-up" a claim...kinda like dealing with the bible. To those who want to find a reason to argue, they will.

Cheers...
