Congress has drawn their line in the sand against the 99ers
All of the sudden Congress has forgotten that this 11 million job loss fiasco over the past 3 years was caused by Wall Street and not America's Jobless victims. They bail out Wall Street because the bankers line the pockets of Congress with campaign contributions and lobbying graft, but we the unemployed have no such money to bribe Congress to help us.

If the lawmakers on Capitol Hill were more interested in helping the economy and not building their own wealth/campaign war chests it would behoove them to remember that the most immediate and stimulative thing to do is to extend UI benefits to all the longest term unemployed. For every $1 in UI benefits spent by Congress, $1.90 is put back into the economy. (this according to NELP and the Congressional Budget Office)

Lately the likes of Max Baucus and many other Democrats have drawn a line in the sand saying "99 weeks is sufficient." Well it would have been had the Congress got off their butts and created the jobs we need to survive, but they have NOT! Since they have failed America yet again they do not deserve to stay in office, period!

The only thing these rich, lame and unfeeling politicians fear is being voted out of office. That said, if Washington is under the impression that the unemployed and homeless do not vote, they are sadly mistaken. We will not forget who put us in this situation and refused to help us in our hour of need.

Time to draw a line in the sand regarding our elected officials--in both parties.

2. Jobless Americans can go hang
We need another $23 billion for Afghanistan. And those fancy-dan F-22s don't come cheap. We need a few hundred billion for those, just in case some other country suddenly decides to build a fighter jet air force from scratch overnight.

Huff Post

Unbelievable "Democrats" can be so stupid and heartless. They are walking right into the trap the GOP has set.
