Cable news networks should disclose how much they've taken from BP
I've seen so many of those dumb "we're asking feel-good ener-gee questions to the man/lady on the street" ads on all the news stations.

I think the reason the energy companies spend so much money on ads that don't even push a product, because they want to be "big clients" of the TV news industry (and effect how they cover stories such as environmental disasters caused by their big clients.)

1. excellent question
how many BP ads are there? And what investment do they both share? Who are BP's board of directors and do they also work for other companies? Who are those companies?

2. I used to work in advertising and know the schmooozy relationship
that stations have for their big clients. Whenever I see all these giant conglomerates advertising nothing, I wonder if the gift baskets are going back and forth between them and CNN, Fox etc.

3. I Suspected the same thing from what little, honestly I've heard
In the end, it's a mentality we see in almost every industry, and honestly, it's gag inducing to see soulless, belligerent people, especially those with wealth. Money for them is a weapon... it's everything to them and without it, they are nothing.

4. I also wonder how much money they spent on ads featuring
their vaguely "eco-looking" green flower, as opposed to how much they skirted in investments that would have actually cut the risk to the environment.
