Edited on Thu May-27-10 06:51 PM by gateley
about an hour or two prior to the BP presser (which conveniently took place after the stock market closed) and Allen was saying 'it's pumping, things are going as planned'.

He may have "Tony's" cell phone number, but apparently BP doesn't have his.

I thought they had to okay every move w/Allen? I hope Obama hears about this and raises holy hell.

Edit: I called Top Kill the Kill Shot.

1. What is a kill shot? Is this different than Top kill and/or junk shot?

5. Oops -- top kill. Although it sounds as though the next step will be a combo --
so kill shot works. But I'll revise my OP. Thanks.

6. No.
He's referring to the "top kill".

They may add some junk to the mud this time around though. They would be in much better shape if they could seal the holes in the damaged riser exiting the top of the BOP.

They're even more oily and toxic than what's been spewing (excuse me, leaking) into the Gulf for the past month!

9. They should pull that Exxon fat bastard out of retirement.
He deserves it after their Valdez settlement fraud.

(no offense to fat non-bastards)
