If we can embed journalists with the army in Iraq |
|
why can't Obama embed journalists on the coast guard ships?
Disclaimer: I'm not a huge fan of embedding because of conflicts of interest. However, if journalists were allowed on each ship it would help Obama solve the perception that BP has taken control of our coastal waters and is preventing journalists from taking photos of it.

1. The Petroleum Mafia does not want journalists on US Coast Guard ships. |
|
It's as simple as that. This is not something they want you to see.

4. That's definitely the impression they are giving. |

I'm having a hard time believing that we're safer having reporters in a war zone than in the gulf looking at an oil spill.
