Dem Leaders Brief Party on New Iraq Plan |
|
WASHINGTON — House Democratic leaders planned to brief party members Tuesday on new legislation that would fund the Iraq war through July, then give Congress the option of cutting off money after that if conditions do not improve. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/huff-wires/20070508/us-iraq

I don't believe the American public would hate the Dems for ending this BS war. The American people want out. I say give hem their wish.
Its time for the Iraqis to step up to he job of governing and using their military and not ours.

3. IF they have to send him a bill, send him the same bill minus the oil provisions. |
|
Let him veto the funds as often as he wants. Just keep repeating "We are sending the money for the troops, jr is vetoing it".

Just remember how long it took to get us out of Vietnam. YEARS after "we the People" said we had had enough.
I am not happy about any of the proposals the Democrats have come up with.
I don't like the idea that since Bush vetoed the first bill, that we have to come up with a "compromise." I surely don't want to call it that.
We need to fund enough to get the troops out of the mid-East and home. That's it.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Bush and camp are sending even more troops over.
I've had enough. But, what to do?
