I'd like to ask the DU to surprise Marta this weekend. Saturday will be our 35th wedding anniversary. 3 kids. 3 grand
kids. I'm asking everybody on the DU to surprise Marta. Not just well wishes. Tell us all something about the love of your
life too. A happy occasion for all. Lets just see how it goes. I don't remember the DU doing anything like this before. I'll
show it to Marta late Saturday afternoon. I've asked OhioChick to start the "Surprise" (actual title) post sometime Friday
in the General Discussion Forum if the mods approve (this is their chance for input).

I sometime disagree with many. I don't ever remember treating anybody badly. IF not for Marta's understanding how much I
love the DU and my friends on it, I couldn't spend 2-3 hours here on an average weeknight. It is usually a lot more on
weekends.

ALL you need is love.

I didn't expect this large of a response. I'll show Marta the post Saturday just before we got to dinner. It is our favorite restaurant. It opened just a few years after we got married. We have been regulars ever since. I hope the party post continues through Sunday. my work schedule is Sun-Thu, so I took the day off.

I just hope everybody has a good time with this.

The love of my life and I have been married for 31 yrs. We travelled the world together while he was in the Army. I found the most important thing in a marriage is open communication. If you don't have that then nothing else falls in place. You know as you get o lder the love grows in different ways (I don't mean sex wise). You kinda of become best friends. Even now my husband will buy me a card and maybe a candy bar for no reason just to say he loves me. I always make sure I take care of whatever he needs to get done and can't.
