One of the local TV stations interviewed a neighbor who said the driver was the victim's brother and they do this all the time.

An 8-year-old Overland Park boy suffered life-threatening injuries in a skateboarding accident on Wednesday evening, police said.

Investigators said the boy was riding his skateboard while holding on to a pickup truck in the 9100 block of Robinson Street. Police said the boy slipped, fell underneath the truck and was run over.

Johnson County MedAct spokesman Jeff Johnson said the boy had been taken into a nearby unit at the Meadowlark Hills apartment complex when medics arrived. He said they found the boy unresponsive, with labored breathing.

The boy was taken to Overland Park Regional Medical Center and Johnson said he would likely be airlifted to Children's Mercy Hospital later Wednesday evening. http://www.kmbc.com/news/23775382/detail.html

Standing on top of the car going god knows how fast down the road. Some high schooler in Malibu took a lot of flak in the news a couple weeks ago when some friends filmed him car surfing on Pacific Coast Hwy on his way to school one morning. Driving PCH in the mornings is dangerous enough but standng on top of a car? Sheer and pure idiocy:dunce:
