We will never wash the oil from our shores until we wash the oil money from our campaigns. |
|
A common theme we're seeing with this oil spill is that so many people are compromised because of how much money the oil companies put into our election process.
Obama doesn't seem to have control, or access to info that BP has. He can't take a stand and come out with guns blazing against big oil. He can't announce sweeping regulations, moratoriums, etc.
Jindal is bashing Obama, but he's even guiltier of being owned by big oil.
Our Congress Critters, state reps, and Parish Presidents, our media, etc.
And it all starts with campaign finance reform. No change until we keep the money out of our elections. Everything else stems from this issue.

2. The Roberts Court has ruled that corporate money is free speech. |
|
This is a corporate dictatorship now. Good luck with that.

1. America has been highjacked by special interests, corporations having "free speech" rights, etc.
2. We can take America back, without bloodshed or great human suffering simply by applying the Constitution.
3. Our candidates will take an Oath that a) we'll ban "corporate free speech" and b) we'll pass term limit and other anti-corruption legislation to hold future elected officials accountable.
