3. I was thinking the exact same thing while watching tonight's show.

Rachel is a real treasure. I always end up the hour feeling "informationally refreshed".

However, there is a lot that anyone who has studied wetlands and marshes and currents and the whole shebang, is too in depth to take people thru to make them understand how long if ever there will be a recovery. That's the really scary part.

It appeared that she touched a nerve with this dude when she pointed out his position as a member of the Board of Directors of some goddamn oil company and asked if that would color his judgment. Of course he had a canned prepared answer but I noticed the other guy jumped in to defend him and they both promised great things from this commission.

We'll see, was kinda Rachel's attitude. You could tell she was still skeptical. As am I.

She is by far the best there is. Nobody else on TV would have had the courage to ask a question like that. And isn't that a sad comment.

And to be frank, he seemed rather defensive in that interview.

She handled these two masterfully. And she did it with a smile on her face the entire time.

She handles ALL well, usually with smiles. NEVER leave her feeling bad. And if/when she errs, she follows up with correction/apology.

14. I love Rachel. She is amazing.

But both Rachel and Keith Olbermann are continuously compared to O'Rilly and Beck, as if they are their left wing equivalents. Of course we know nothing could be further from the truth. So I don't believe she will win any sort of award anytime soon even though she is beyond deserving.
