Republicans Can Go "F" Themselves When They Talk About Jobs
The reason that our jobs market has crashed is not because we have a “socialist” in the White House. It’s because people like Carly Fiorina, CEO of Hewlett Packard (1999-2005), and top economic advisor to the McCain campaign, are able to ship 10,000 manufacturing jobs to China in order to improve HP’s bottom line. We don’t support our unions, and we let the giant corporations dictate wage and benefit terms to our workers and offer them a pittance, like they did to the GM workers in Kenosha Wisconsin. This happens over and over. Delphi, Lear, you name it.

"People are upset in America because 30 years of Reaganomics has destroyed the American Middle Class, most of the problem being with Private Equity firms buying American businesses, saddling them with debt, stripping them down, moving their manufacturing to China, and then selling them off."

-Thom Hartman

Corporate Executives, and their political spokespeople (Republicans) ought to look in the mirror when they ask where our jobs have gone. The rest of America needs to wake up too.

3. Remember Phil Gramm was the McCain campaign's first top economic advisor.
Until he called us all whiners for daring to suppose we might have been in a recession at the time. Which we were. The worst one since the Great Depression.

8. At least 10,000 jobs.
I have seen other estimates ranging from 15,000-20,000. If Fiorina wins the GOP nomination, I hope the Boxer campaign hammers that fact home ad nauseum, along with the fact that she's a big proponent of expanding the H-1B visa program. Yeah, she's all for "jobs", but only for non-Americans.

10. Ted Kennedy took Mitt Romney to the woodshed over
his business dealing with Bain Capital. Boxers should be able to do the same with Fiorina.

13. Don't forget they pulled the same...
...bullshit at Mercury Marine (Fond du Lac, Wi) and are now trying at Harley Davidson (Milwaukee).

More jobs to China, Vietnam and other third-world countries, where there is no healthcare, minimum wage or other protections for worker.

Damn It. The Overlords are winning.

16. How can this possibly be true?
"People are upset in America because 30 years of Reaganomics has destroyed the American Middle Class"

Everyone knows our problems can be blamed on those lazy minorities, especially them illegals, welfare moms popping out babies just for the perks, and the gays, who have destroyed American families. :sarcasm:

any number of issues. Jobs is a good one to start. Their rabid deregulation and greed has cost us jobs for decades.

But they are still better than the Republicans.

Maybe that's what "they" want me to think?
