2. Considering 8 hours before, the futures were down over 100...

As is typical for this board, the hand wringing has been done on other threads, as the Asian markets reacted to Fridays sell off. But from over negative 100 points to now positive, it is a considerable reversal.

Futures only give an indication of the trend at the open, however. No one knows where the market will close at today, next week or next year, though some on this board are convinced they know more than anyone else and can't understand why they aren't listened to completely.

It's easy. They don't know any more than anyone else.
