The AZ law is a combination of alot of things come to a head.

There ARE people living near the border who ARE scared. That's a fact. Pretending like everyone in AZ is racist and that there's no reason to be scared of border coyotes carrying drugs and guns is just plain foolish.

But there is also racism, and ignorance, and a host of other issues that have brought about this law, right or wrong. Repukes see the world in black and white; we don't need to do the same.

7. I saw a headline in the DE paper yesterday that said
something like the AZ law isn't a good fit for Delaware. I thought "Don't even go there".

But how many other states have passed laws like Arizona?

This law is not about crime, it's about racism.

3. It truly is. I live in AZ, and I've lived near the border, and I allow the
ranchers there their anger up to a point. But living in the 'burbs of Phoenix are the people who voted for the folks who voted for this hate crime of a bill--and they have NOTHING to fear.

Period.
