She has spent $70 million of her own money so far trying to get elected. That doesn't make any sense. California, thanks to it's idiotic law-making and budgeting process (thanks to the tax-o-phobes) is ungovernable. Being governor is a constant hassle and a thankless job.

The only reason I can think of that Megabucks would want to be governor is that she has her eye on the White House and figures that if it worked for Reagan it would work for her.
