Imagine if the headline was that, then we'd see it everywhere, right?

But we won't, because the person here is white and conservative.

"A North Olmsted man facing 54 explosives-related charges was ruled competent to stand trial. The charges stem from authorities saying they found a bomb at his home and explosives stored at a friend’s house in April.

Matthew Fairfield, 30, of Louis Drive, remains in jail in lieu of a $1 million bond after a hearing Thursday before Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge Peter J. Corrigan. A report from a court-ordered psychiatric exam was presented at the hearing.

“This means he won’t be able to claim he wasn’t sane at the time of the incidents,” said Assistant Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Dan Kasaris.

Fairfield’s attorney James Kersey did not return calls for comment.

If convicted, Fairfield could face up to 80.5 years in prison after he was indicted April 15 on 28 counts of unlawful ordinance, 25 counts of receiving stolen property and one count of possessing criminal tools. He could face an additional 18 months in prison for violating probation on a carrying concealed weapons conviction stemming from his carrying a loaded gun strapped to his ankle while attending an event at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds several months ago.

Officials said they also confiscated a computer belonging to Fairfield and are examining its contents.

Kasaris said in addition to examining the computer, officials are continuing to look into a mortgage firm Fairfield was involved with. He said they found he also was a local president for an area right-wing militia type group, the Oath Keepers."

This is actually pretty much the only news article I could find on this guy, it's almost like there's a 'liberal' media blackout when a non-Muslim, non-dark skinned guy building the bombs, throwing the bombs, or detonating the bombs. Why?
