I'm begging off due to being involved in a couple of campaigns, but interested folks should look at the census website.

3. Do you know what that operation is?

I was working for the census earlier in the year, and I got the impression they had everything covered. They're just finishing going to the homes of people who did not send their census forms back. What is the next step? I can't think of what it could be.

4. There are three operations that I know of

One is coming to a close and that is the one to try and count all those who did not send in their form. There is a second currently underway and it is doing a quality spot check on our work. The one in the OP is to verify vacancies and deletes as well as to try once again to get those that refuse.
