1. Any Legal Minds Care to Comment?
Good Morning Everybody!

The PDF file does not allow me to paste in an excerpt...so there is a time investment in reading the above.

I am not an attorney but I'm trying to figure out what the author, George Tran, is trying to explain.

Don't leave your home without a fight.

2. Randi Rhodes was talking about something like this a few weeks ago.
The fact that a mortgage (let's say with Countrywide - which no longer exists) was immediately sold to a 3rd party, and then from there the mortgage was bundled in a debt instrument and openly sold on the Wall Street Casino.

How, exactly, does one know who REALLY holds their mortgage? If I write my checks to MortgageCompany A, are they merely collecting my money and holding/spending/investing my money to line their own pockets without having any REAL legal right to demand I pay them my money? Interesting subject.

If true, and we can get several thousand people to do this, the banking industry will be screwed. :bounce:

3. I read most of this. While the 're-conveyance' papers look good, you will see that they weren't
signed by BOA nor any of its reps, but by the 'new' trustee George assigned. He's also still involved in lawsuits and might even have a few more by now. It's not easy to tell a corporation that you, as an individual, have had their interests declared null and void.

4. This is an interesting piece. I have just skimmed over this, and found something
of concern. If the Tarp money was used to bail out the underwater mortgages, and the banks are still pursuing these claims via foreclosures, why hasn't the program to help these mortgages been created just wipe off this debt like it was for the banks? It has been reported on that Obama's mortgage relief programs are limping along with only a hand full of people receiving help. This is very concerning if American homeowners are having to continue to pay on underwater mortgages after banks have already had them payed off via the tax payer bailout.

5. The whole "wet ink signature" thing confuses me.
Edited on Fri Jun-11-10 09:08 PM by tinrobot
The only way you can see the actual signature is for them to mail you the originals or invite you to come to their offices for you to view them.

No bank is going to part with their originals (if they have them) by mailing them out. They'll mail a photocopy.

If receiving a photocopy is the crux of his case, then it could be a very shaky case.
