it is also causing large areas of de-oxygenated water that will also be getting hotter. Once it gets hotter, you know it helps them get stronger, faster.

I don't know much about the Atlantic, but the Gulf is already very warm during the Summer. If the oil makes the water attract more sunlight and causes it to heat up, we're in for a hell of a ride.
