Pollak Cites Gun-Toter As Example Of Tea Party Diversity

When challenged about the tea party's image as predominantly "white and middle-class," 9th Congressional District GOP candidate Joel Pollak chose a questionable example of diversity.

On WFLD's Fox Chicago Sunday this past weekend, GOP candidate Joel Pollack discussed why he is challenging Rep. Jan Schakowsky in the 9th Congressional District. One notable moment came when co-host Dane Placko asked him about the apparent lack of diversity among the so-called "tea partiers." In response, Pollak argued that the left-wing media has attempted to "mask the diversity of the tea party" and gave an interesting example. Watch it (full video available here):

Something is terribly wrong with people of any minority who would choose to align themselves with Republicans and/or Tea Baggers. It just doesn't make sense.

Same goes for the women who support Republicans and "conservative" agendas that would take away a woman's right to choose. Do these women long for the days of the "barefoot and pregnant" little wife at home cooking and cleaning all day, looking forward to the highlight of her day when her husband comes home from work so she can wait on him hand and foot and devote her full attention and adoration to him?

It never ceases to amaze me. Gay Republicans? Black Tea Baggers? Women who support their barbaric agendas? They truly must be idiots, because there's no other explanation for it. :shrug:
