3. And if the casing comes apart, it could go up to 600k barrels a day.
And there's no guarantee that the relief well drilling will work.

It appears that we are in deep shit with this deep oil.

5. I heard someone say it may take 3-4 years for the pressure to slow down
if we do not make it stop!

8. That would be 25 million gallons a day, and a billion gallons in less than 6 weeks
That would be beyond disastrous

4. And I just watched the Senate vote down Sanders amendment to end some tax breaks for the oil Co.
Many Dems voted against him...He even put in it that all revenues will got to paying down the deficit!!!

So 61 Senators prefer to keep the tax breaks for the oil companies? keep in mind, many of them pay no taxes and get refunds!!! I think Exxon's refund was $154 million last year.

You must have no soul to be a Senator...

12. Same here.
As I said on another thread, they've only ever publicized their lowball estimates. So we can easily guess the real number is in the 100K+ bbl/day range.

9. No surprise there. Tulane and FSU both had experts calculating 90K or higher
a few weeks ago. Basically no one here believed the BP story of 5K to 10K BPD, ever.
Don't know why the Coast Guard ever did. (LOL. That's a rhetorical comment, obviously.)
