New Balance athletic shoes are made right here in the USA! I was delighted to know that. I love mine.

1. My mother bought multiple pairs of their pink shoes for womens cancer.
I think they were NB shoes.
I apologize if I'm wrong.

3. Interesting read on NB...

Also:

"New Balance is one of several shoe companies that makes some of their products in the United States. Green America states in the New Balance Responsible Shopper company information page that around one quarter of NB's shoes are made in the United States."

4. Not all of them
I am a big NB fan. They last a long long time. Nobody makes better shoes right now for the money. They don't advertise much, it's all word of mouth.

The 993s are made in the US and some others, I forgot which ones.

6. You can tell without even checking the label.
The better quality ones look it - and they're US made. Curiously, they are only slightly more expensive, but again they are of better quality. They last a really long time and the tread holds up well. The numbers keep changing, though. A 993 might have been a 937 or 856 or something in the past.

Some 20+ years ago when I was running regularly, Saucony and New Balance were both ENTIRELY US made. About then, Saucony switched to foreign plants. I think New Balance started making that switch about 15 years ago, but at least they still make the good shoes here.

10. My husband loves them. They helped with his bad ankles that
he developed running track. The ankles were getting worse because he stands all day as a teacher.

I just checked one pair though and they were made in Vietnam.
