The drone of thousands of football fans wielding plastic horns may be South Africa's lasting legacy from this year's World Cup.

The horns, known as Vuvuzelas, have become the sound of the tournament, but some players have complained that the deafening noise affects their game.

There has even been talk of a possible ban being imposed, but fans continue to blow their horns and, as Hamish MacDonald reports, Vuvu-mania is starting to spread.
