31. Why aren't they hooked up to POLYGRAPH machines???
And if they fail to answer or lie then imprison them! I'll even go a step further. Have everyone in business and government submit to a lie detector test and if they are found to lie about anything then have them removed or throw them in prison, depending on what they lied about of course.

32. Aren't the results inadmissible in court? If that's still the case, I'd imagine that
would apply to this hearing, too. It's an imperfect science, I think.

46. Yeah, they are inadmissible, but if they fail and were part of the crime, hang em'!
They are actually very reliable tests but I heard that sociopaths are uniquely designed to skew the results. So the sociopathic Hayward might pass because of his deranged mental state.

involved legal issues and how to get around taking responsibility for safety violations and had little to no time devoted to improving safety.

about the relevant details the panel would be asking him, presumably so he wouldn't have to choose between lying and giving answers that are extremely damaging to BP?

45. Wasn't it the BP hatchet man, John Guide, who made the ...
on site decisions to go with what they had...to forego needed tests and the installation of the centralizers in the casing because it took too much time and money?

He was the guy who argued with the engineers and riggers and apparently ignored the Schlumberger crew.

47. I thought all fingers were pointing at a guy named Robert Kaluza, who pled the fifth and...
...refused to testify. From all I'd read, he is the likeliest (and possibly only?) candidate for being "the company man" that everyone describes in their testimony.
