New Orleans pulls BP-funded tourism ad after it's seen as anti-British- PIC

The New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau, which used the $5 million they got from BP to produce four TV ads, will distribute three of them and three print ads aimed at boosting tourism which has slumped since the spill.

Bureau spokeswoman Kelly Schulz said Thursday an ad saying, "This isn't the first time New Orleans has survived the British," was pulled after some perceived it as anti-British.
