Central Fall High School grad wins 2nd Tony award, thanks her teachers
NEW YORK (WPRI) - Viola Davis, who grew up in Central Falls and graduated from Rhode Island College, won her second Tony Award on Sunday for her role in the play "Fences."

"I want to thank so many wonderful and extraordinary entities and individuals who held me up when I couldn't hold myself up," she said. "It starts with Dan and May Alice Davis, my parents; the teachers of Central Falls in Rhode Island; my beautiful, loving husband..."
