As long as we're getting rid of McChrystal, why don't we end the war with him? |
|
I mean, why fill the position?
Just draw down, head home, roll the credits...

1. nice idea but at least leave some small elite forces to root out |
|
all the terrorists running around over there. But yea, draw down all the ridiculous troop numbers over there.

4. I don't think we can ever root out all the terrorists. How many |
|
times have we killed Bin Laden's #2 man? I'd rather see the money spent making sure we keep track of radioactive material and biologicals.

8. I think both can be done |
|
I'm nervous to leave all the terror cells alone hatching their plots over there. They target all countries not just America, I don't think leaving them alone is a good idea. Got to keep the pressure on, but it can be done with small elite forces and intelligence agencies.

10. The problem is that once you start going after people with |
|
small elite forces, you end up with renditions and summary executions. I'd rather see police forces working on this.

11. Police forces would need more funding. Strings would be attached. |
|
...And you're back to square one.
There is no good solution, only less bad ones. And, I'd add, I don't know for certain, but my instinct is that the larger footprint of the current endeavor inherently makes things harder to hide. Small wars can be kept secret for a long, long time. :(

2. I wish that were an option. |
|
The war will go on with or without McChrystal. It is possible that McChrystal will stay on, too.

We can demand a formal apology from the US government for unilaterally spearheading a war based on questionable motives and fraudulent intel.

21. Great idea!!! And we can blame McChrystal and the rest of the Bushler Cabal for losing it. |
|
McChrystal thinks he is playing the board game Risk and with WWII toy soldiers.
He is a clear and present danger to our women and men over there, as well as the civilian population.
