So, would one of the "realistic" and "politically savvy" folks who always apologize for and justify
the Blue Dogs explain why Ben Nelson should get one more Goddamn DIME from the DSCC?

I know the traitorous bastard will, which is why I will never contribute to them again.

I'll wait----

2. He doesn't need dime one of it.

It might improve his chances of re-election if he were seen to noisily and publicly turn it down.

Not that his 2012 election would be close -- he won by more than 2-1 in 2006.

You, I and Harry Reid have zero leverage on him. Deal with it.

8. when he votes for the Senate Majority leader....
...it's not Mitch McConnell he's voting for.

And sometimes that's all you're going to get.

There's presently a Senate coalition majority composed of:

The Democratic Senators who are Democrats
The Democratic Senators who are Republicans

The Republican Senators who are Republicans are in opposition.

And there are no Republican Senators who are Democrats.

3. Well, this is no justification, but....
Considering the DSCC has become a client agency of the DLC, a Republican like Nelson will have their unending support.

Which is why I recommend that those of you who still HAVE money to contribute in these fucked economic times, do so either directly to worthy candidates themselves (Nelson would NOT be one) or to organizations such as DFA and PDA which are still on our side.

Not a dime to Tim Kaine's D(L)NC or the other client agencies.

4. Exactly what I told DSCC when they called night before last. "You support too many people who do
not support me. I will give to individual campaigns, but will not allow you to use my money to support Lincoln or Nelson."

9. Well to answer that question I have to ask you two
1) Can you find a Republican on this list who has a 58% defection rate (is better than Nelson's admittedly abysmal record)?

http://bolson.org/gov/us/senate/2010/

2) If not can you find me a better Democrat who can win in NE statewide?

If both answers are no - how much of that 58% do you want to lose?
