Hospitalized Cheney reported feeling much better
Edited on Sun Jun-27-10 10:11 AM by Seneca
:grr:

What REALLY pisses me off, is that untold thousands of Americans have similar heart health issues, but lack the coverage to get the quality of treatment outlined in the article. And many who do have coverage lack the level of it he has, and will incur 6-digit debt before it's all over. Not this evil fuck, though.

He and those who share his ideology fought AGAINST the kind of healthcare reform which would make this level of care accessible and affordable for ALL Americans.

I am betting this sick criminal fuck never put up more than a $500 deductible, which is chump change for him.

Hospitalized Cheney reported feeling much better

WASHINGTON – One of Dick Cheney's daughters says the hospitalized former vice president could go home on Monday after receiving medication to treat a fluid buildup related to his aggressive form of heart disease.

The 69-year-old, who has had five heart attacks, was admitted to George Washington University Hospital on Friday after experiencing discomfort. His last heart attack — described as a mild one — was in February.

Liz Cheney tells "Fox News Sunday" that her father is feeling better and hopes to be released on Monday.

Cheney's office says Cheney has received intravenous medication and that he's "markedly improved."

1. Don't lose hope. It's always darkest just before it goes pitch black.

2. So Liz was on Fox News
instead of by the side of her ailing father? Or did she give this report by phone?

Or was it just before one of her anti-Obama rants?

5. Cheney has always been a fucking coward
and he is terrified of dying.
This slow and painful end is the only justice that will ever be served.
He won't be around for much longer. Let him continue rotting slowly.

16. If you were him, you'd be afraid of dying too
Edited on Sun Jun-27-10 10:36 AM by Bettie
He has led a truly evil life and has done damage in every endeavor he's ever had.

He's also a "christian", so he's got to be afraid of what awaits him on the other side.

I just dread after his death all the Republicans who will wail and beat their chests and try to make him second only to St. Ronnie.

And you're right, the slow painful death is much less than he deserves! :)

(Edited to add a bit I forgot the first time)

21. I have often wondered - if a person believes in the right religion
which Cheney claims to -
and they believe in an after life as part of that religion which I would assume he does -
and he considers what he has done in his life as following the precepts of that religion
(which I would assume Cheney does - there are some sects that believe rich and powerful = good and holy)
then why would he fear death?
Based on some of what I hear about some sects of Christianity, Cheney should be looking at an afterlife that is better and should be welcomed.

4. Old repukes seem to live forever no matter what health issues they have.
They are always well insured and receive the best of care they want to deny everybody else. Who the hell survives five heart attacks? Only somebody with immediate access to the best doctors and hospitals - certainly not the average guy on the street.

8. I suppose it is wonderful to be able
to have an extensive hospital stay, and have no problems with the cost. Lots of Americans WITH health insurance incur hefty fees with a hospital stay. Yes he, who cut services to the poorest Americans and supports the current crop of asinine republicans in congress who are trying to do the same gets the best care. I for one don't wish anybody ill but just for once it would be so fulfilling to see someone like him get what is coming to him.

Let's see five heart attacks. One for each deferment from the Viet Nam War. Wonder what could set Bush back a notch for going AWOL and not getting caught during that same war. Wish he would get to pay his dues.

9. He might survive but 5 heart attacks and this are no picnic
He's paying a little of his karma right now. It's probably terrifying to him every time he goes to the hospital. He's most likely always fearful that death is just around the corner.

14. Satan is probably far more terrified
than Dick is of his inevitable demise.

He might have to turn over one of his prized ruby-encrusted crimson pitchforks to Cheney in Hades...:evilfrown:

18. Not old enough
I wasn't complaining about your liking Billy Joel. I'm old, and I like his music a lot.

But that expression predates Billy Joel by many years, probably by many centuries.

22. Gotcha. I didn't mean to intimate that Billy created the phrase, but ...
a lot of folks my age associate it with him as opposed to, say, Oliver Herford.

He spent the whole weekend peeing. Sounds like he was in congestive heart failure. I went through that often with my father.

Which one had the most sequels/near death experiences but comes back again?

Answer: Cheney.

I don't know why he keeps complaining about heart pain. The fucker doesn't even have a heart.
