Here's an analogy for the Hearing's coverage on CNN and MSNBC:
Imagine that you've settled in for a Saturday night to watch the fight card on HBO. The first bout starts, and all of a sudden, they place the live action in a tiny rectangle in the upper left, while all the bigmouth boxing 'aficionados' start pontificating about the champ, the challenger, the referee, the town in which it's being held, and other crap, punctuated by commercials when the round isn't even over. This goes on for four hours.

So it is for the hearings...given that they're on C-SPAN 3 most of the time, which many don't receive on their cable, it is a real disservice to the populus. Listening to Tweety and all the other creeps do their blowhard routine with inadequate guests is just ridiculous.

But then again, what else is new?

1. In the case of boxing, I'd rather see the rectangle reduced to nothing.
Then I could put the announcers on mute. Or better yet, switch channels or turn off the TV.

Are we sure the hearings will be any better than boxing?
