1. Important video for DUers is what I think.

There is a fine line between determining the truth about a DEM candidate and tearing them down. I see more of the tearing them down aspect here the last few months.

2. Yes,, but

It's a good reminder to campaign supporters not to discredit the candidate who they may be their only hope after the nomination. And yes, the personal sniping and the "experience" crap gets a bit tiresome.

But there are legitimate policy differences to be thrashed out. People are too ready to go with the empty "message" of glossy campaign ads, or the "feel" of a candidate who may not reflect their true stance at all.

Democrats need to get the policy right, and come up with a candidate who'll consistently promote and implement good policies rather than let the GOP off the hook again. And they need someone who'll give no quarter in the fight.

So let's say where we think candidates are wrong, and let's stick to policy. I don't care about people's haircuts, their husband's BJ or their former drug preference. I do care if they don't have what it takes to carve out a new and constructive US role in a better world.
