The smoke is back
FORT MYERS: The weather may look cloudy - but it’s actually smoke.

Several hundred fires have been burning across the state in recent weeks and there are still very large fires in north Florida and south Georgia burning at this hour.

The combination of these fires and winds from the northwest are making for a lousy-looking day in Southwest Florida.

There is plenty of smoke in the Gulf of Mexico to the west of us and the winds should keep moving it toward us tonight and most of the day tomorrow.

6. The sun popped out up here for a while.
And it doesn't smell like an incinerator right now.
