I am so sick of hearing that old saw. A proper retort should be.. "YES..let's explore HOW and WHY we got there".

It's obvious to everyone, except mabye the occasional 2nd grader, that this "war" is little more than *²'s "kings-X". He made darned sure he got men & women under fire as soon as he possibly could, so that he could empty the treasury AND protect himself from any serious questions.

What a perfectly Rove-ian scheme!.. Start a war, gin up the hyper-patriotism, and then relate every other scheme to the "war".. Pillory anyone who DARES to question, since leaders can never be questioned when we are at war.. Too bad Roosevelt, Truman, Johnson never knew about this "rule"..:puke:

3. It's all they have...nothing else can take hold because the

other ideas the R's have are spurious and beyond redemption.

What else did they come up with...gay marriage, flag burning, and the ever present tax cuts...that's it.

They try to rule by fear, sometimes it works, but more often than not, it is seen as the trash heap it is. There are some people here in Nebraska that believe Iraq will invade us w/in 6 months after we leave...:eyes: I'm tired of asking how they are going to get here, the only answer I've heard is hijacking planes...sheesh, that's a lot of hijacking, and just how will they land w/o being taken captive or killed immediately.

I just want our people home and safe. There are many dangers in this world, and our military is incapable of dealing w/many of them if they erupt.
