of several authors and their thoughts. Jefferson himself was a Deist and had no problem citing a "Creator" in the document, although he (rightly) believed in the churches staying out of government and vice versa.

2. Well it was a product of the era |
|
the Enlightenment thinking.
But that famous phrase... Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness, comes straight from, Life, liberty and the pursuit of wealth... in Locke's On Government.
But not according to Beck U...
For whom lecturer all this came from God...

|
Give it five minutes, he'll link it to Naziism.

10. I always said the RW Authoritarians, like the Nazis, accuse their victims of doing what they |
|
themselves are doing.
Classic authoritarian/totalitarian projection.
"The Jews are serial liars and propagandists who want to take over the world."
Just as with Beck, most Nazi calumnies against the Jews most accurately describe themselves.

3. And how many sermons were based on Locke... |
|
Just because it was said in a church back then doesn't mean it was a sermon.

4. You found Beck U as funny as I did |
|
sadly some idiots will buy it. Hey a lot of the signers went to SEMINARY... the ancient name for Universities in Colonial America
Yes a few were true seminaries in the modern sense of the world, but a few had more in common with universities... and those were a little more religious back then too.

6. Well I was wondering who'd take Father Coughlin |
|
place... I always believed that be Rush... Nope, Glenny is far more on point on that one.
